VAT-MIS |
| Aim of the VAT-MIS application is to provide a better monitoring tool for Commercial Taxes Department of Government of Bihar. VATMIS software is based on a centralized architecture system wherein Servers have been placed in the Data Center at Technology Bhavan in Patna. Various locations of the department are connected on Optical Fibre and BSNL leased lines.

| The application has been developed by TCS based on the User Requirement Specification (URS) signed off by Commercial Tax Department. User Acceptance Test (UAT) on the same has been conducted by Commercial Tax Department and third party testing team (Testing Team) designated by Bihar e-Governance Services and Technologies (BeST). The application has gone live in 46 locations
